Companies

A company in Skava bundles master data, team members, address and business documents. Projects and service items can be assigned to a company — the foundation for quotes and invoices.

Create a company

You manage companies in the Profile tab under the "Companies" section.

  1. In the Profile tab under Companies tap the plus icon.
  2. In the Create company form, enter at least the company name.
  3. Optionally add address, contact information and legal details.
  4. Save using the checkmark in the top right.

The form is organized into sections:

  • Basic information — the company name.
  • Address — street, postal code, city and country.
  • Contact — phone, email and website.
  • Legal — legal form, managing director, and registry entry and registry court.

You don't have to fill in everything at once — the company name is sufficient to create the company, everything else can be added later.

The company detail page

After creation, the company appears in your profile. Tap it to open the detail page with all areas related to the company:

  • Address — the company address, copyable with a tap.
  • Team members — all people in the company.
  • Locations — sites, also the basis for geofence time tracking.
  • Revenue statistics — the revenue analysis.
  • My quotes, My invoices and My order confirmations — the business documents.

Multiple companies

You can be a member of multiple companies — for example as a subcontractor. Skava cleanly separates the areas: each company has its own master data, its own team members and its own documents. The person who created a company appears there as owner.

A linked company is required to record service items in a chat and create quotes or invoices.

Web app and mobile app

Manage master data, manage many team members, review documents — the detailed company management is more comfortable in the web app.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a company in Skava?

Open the Profile tab, tap the plus icon in the "Companies" section, fill in at least the company name in the "Create company" form and save using the checkmark in the top right.

What information does a company need?

The company name is sufficient to create a company. Address, contact information (phone, email, website) and legal details (legal form, managing director, registry entry) are optional and can be added later.
