Skava Skava / Wiki

Settings and Appearance

Skava should adapt to your workday, not the other way around. In settings, you define how the app looks, how quietly it behaves, and how your time is tracked.

Opening Settings

Access app settings via the gear icon in the top right of the Profile tab. Settings are organized into sections.

Appearance and Behavior

The Appearance and Behavior sections.

Appearance controls how it looks:

  • Language — the app language (for example, English).
  • Theme — light, dark, or "System", which follows your device setting.
  • Map Style — how maps appear in the app.

Behavior controls how the app feels in daily use: whether links open in the in-app browser, where the message feed starts, and whether messages automatically mark as read when scrolling.

Notifications and Time Tracking

Email notifications and geofence time tracking.

Notifications manage email alerts: whether you receive emails for stream messages, whether notifications are sent even offline, and whether multiple alerts are bundled together.

Time Tracking includes the option Automatically clock in at geofence: when you enter a work site, Skava automatically tracks your time and stops it when you leave. This requires continuous location access.

Under Data you'll also find the app's storage usage.

!

Automatic geofence time tracking requires continuous location access. Enable it only if continuous location sharing is desired for your time tracking.

Adjust Intentionally

i

It's better to change one or two settings intentionally than to change everything at once. That way you can tell later what actually helped.

Web App and Mobile App

In the web app, appearance and browser behavior take priority — theme switching and display.
